QPRO TRAINING VIDEOS

Use these instructions to import an inventory list provided in a “CSV” format by other software programs. This feature is only included in QFloors version 4.004 and higher. 

  1. The CSV file must be in the format found below in the Rules for CSV File section below. 
  2. Click File on the Menu bar, then select Import, then Inventory (CSV)
  3. Browse to and select the CSV file that you need to import. 

Rules for CSV File 

  1. The CSV file must be in the following format. The first row is a header row and cell A1 must have the following indicator: ~~Inventory Number. Data should start on row 2 of the file.

  2. Required fields * 
    Manufacturer, Description Name, Description Number, Color Name, Color Number, Pricing Units, Cost,
    Physical Quantity and Width/Quant_Carton must contain data.
    Width/Quant_Carton must contain a number greater than zero. 
  3. Recognized Pricing Units (B2B Standard) 

    SY = Square Yards

    EA = Each

    SF = Square Feet

    CT = Carton

    LF = Linear Feet

     
  4. Recognized Product Types (B2B Standard) 
    The following codes are from the B2B Standard and correspond to, or will match up to, the first three letters of the product types you define in the QFloors Product Catalog. It is possible to define your own meanings to the three letter codes but be aware that these codes follow industry standards and could affect imported documents from other venders. Also, make sure you have these set up in the Product Catalog before you import your CSV files.

    If you have non-B2B products in your list of Product Types, give them a code that does not match any of the actual B2B codes.
